ABOUT BOHEMIAN BUDDHIST

RETREAT TO THE RADICAL MIDDLE

This site is devoted to the Buddhist path of the Middle Way,

 between all dualistic extremes.

As Aldous Huxley said so presciently more than fifty years ago, if society does

not offer a viable alternative to materialistic/militarism, we will sink into the swamp

of authoritarianism. Pre-modern Tibet was the only culture on earth that devoted

itself to the creation of enlightened beings, for the benefit of all other sentient

beings. This, to my mind, is the only legitimate foundation for any civilization.

We must find the way out of our mind-created hell realms and begin creating

beauteous, bountiful buddhaverses. Future buddhas, bodhisattvas, and just plain

 good folks, welcome!

Bohemian Buddhist is one Tibetan Buddhist writer's cyber-platform for articles,  essays, a poem or two, reviews of enlightening books and films, enchanting Himalayan photos, and even eventually a short film on meditation.  My novel, "The All Souls'  Waiting Room," the theme of which is reincarnation and karma, is featured as the site's anchor.  I may also put snippets of my screenplay about  Alexandra David-Neel on the site, but that's for the future.

For now, I hope you enjoy the website - - and may you attain enlightenment, like, right now!
